Interview mastery
You've earned this interview. Most people waste it.
Congratulations, you have been selected for interviews! Now you need to present yourself in the best possible way!
At the Senior Manager and VP level, the hiring panel already assumes you can do the work.
They're not evaluating your skills. They're evaluating whether you think like a leader, command a room, and make them feel confident handing you an organization.
Most senior tech professionals prepare for the wrong interview. They rehearse answers. They polish their résumé stories. They practice sounding impressive.
The panel has heard all of it. What they haven't seen — what almost no candidate does — is someone who shifts the dynamic entirely: who makes the interview feel like a conversation between equals, who exits the room with the panel thinking "we need to hire that person before someone else does."
That's not a talent. It's a skill. And it's learnable in two sessions.
What brings people here
You give great answers to the wrong questions
Technical depth and execution stories don't move hiring decisions at this level. Leadership presence, strategic thinking, and how you handle ambiguity do.
Your real self doesn't show up in the room
Nerves, over-preparation, or trying too hard to "nail" the interview collapses the very presence that makes you exceptional at your job.
You don't know what they're actually looking for
Every company, every panel, every role has a real question underneath the questions. Without knowing what it is, you're answering in the dark.
THE PROGRAM
Two sessions. Completely Transformed.
Session 1: messaging mastery
90-minutes
Crafting how you present yourself—not just repeating your résumé.
A clear story makes it immediately obvious who you are, what you’re great at, and where you’re going.
A compelling story highlights impact and meaning, not just responsibilities.
A differentiated story shows what sets you apart—your unique mix of experience, problems solved, and way of thinking.
WHAT WE COVER
Your leadership narrative — the three or four answers that will define how this panel sees you
Role-specific positioning: what this company and panel are actually looking for underneath their questions
How to reframe your experience from "what I did" to "what I enabled" — the VP-level shift most candidates miss
Crafting your "why this company" answer so it's specific, credible, and genuinely compelling
Session 2: Presence and performance
90-minutes
Stepping into the interview as an active participant, not a passive respondent.
Controlling the conversation flow and bridging answers back to strengths, relevant examples.
Making sure your key messages are heard rather than waiting to be asked the “perfect” question.
Communicating with impact means being structured, concise, and outcome-focused.
Asking questions that elevate your position to signal strategic thinking
Learn impactful communications and body language.
WHAT WE COVER
How to dress for the specific company culture — FAANG vs. Series B vs. enterprise reads very differently
Entering the room: body language, energy calibration, and the first 90 seconds that set the tone
Carnegie's influence principles applied to interview dynamics — how to make the panel feel understood, not interrogated
Live mock interview with real-time coaching and written feedback summary
Pre/POST Interview Sessions
30-minutes - up to 5 sessions.
Short call to review the last round of interviews and strategize for the next round.
24-48 hours before your actual interview to strategize any round of the interview process.
Five rapid-fire questions, real -time sharpening, and a mental reset.
We send you in at peak confidence - not peak anxiety.
Booked at any time after session 2

I became the top #1 candidate!
“I was heading into a series of executive interviews with a multi-billion-dollar Silicon Valley leader—one of those rare, career-defining opportunities. Failing was not an option.
As an experienced leader, I knew how to present my background. But that’s not what wins at the highest level.
Working with Better Life Decisions changed the game entirely. This wasn’t interview prep—it was executive positioning. Together, we built a sharp, differentiated narrative, rehearsed every interaction, and refined how I showed up: my presence, my messaging, and my ability to lead the conversation with senior stakeholders.
The impact was undeniable. I didn’t just perform well—I stood out. I was ranked the #1 candidate.
The role was ultimately put on hold due to an acquisition, but the result that matters is this: I now approach every high-stakes interview with a level of confidence, clarity, and control I simply didn’t have before.
This is the difference between being considered and being selected.”

FAQ
-
Most clients complete both sessions within 5–7 days of booking, with 3–4 days between sessions to absorb and apply the work from session 1. If your interview is imminent, contact us directly, and we'll do everything possible to accommodate your timeline.
-
The job description, the name of the company, and a brief summary of where you are in the process — how many rounds, who you've met, what feedback you've received. We do the research and come prepared. You don't need to send a résumé or prepare anything formal.
-
We prioritize session 1 first — it delivers the highest impact per hour and can stand alone if time is short. If the interview falls before we can complete session 2, we'll convert session 2 into a post-interview debrief and preparation for any subsequent rounds.
-
Both. The presence, framing, and Carnegie conversation principles apply equally to video and in-person formats. For video interviews, we add specific guidance on camera presence, background setup, lighting, and how to hold authority through a screen — which is genuinely different and something most candidates never prepare for.
-
Yes. FAANG interviews are structured differently — more behavioral frameworks, panel diversity, leveling conversations — and we tailor the preparation to your specific company. We have direct knowledge of what FAANG panels at Director and VP level are evaluating, including through our executive mentor network. Mention the company when you book and we'll confirm the fit.
-
The guarantee covers advancing from your current stage to the next stage following completion of both sessions. If you're in round 1, the guarantee applies to round 2. It does not cover receiving a final offer — too many variables beyond interview performance influence the final hiring decision. That said, our results speak for themselves.
What happens after you get the offer?
Our clients who complete the Interview Mastery Intensive and receive an offer have access to our Offer Negotiation service — a dedicated engagement where we build your compensation strategy, draft your counter, and support you through to acceptance. On average, our SM/VP clients negotiate $35,000–$65,000 above their initial offer.
There's no obligation. If the timing is right and the offer is in hand, we'll have a conversation.
You'll know when.
